Flat MUS Reporting in…

I spent May doing what I do best: showing up, networking, and posing for photos.

Last month, I made my way to Phoenix, Arizona for the 42nd Annual NAWDP Conference alongside Kellie Landaker, MUS Director of Membership and Learning. Between conference sessions, hallway conversations, and a surprising number of photo opportunities, I connected with workforce leaders from across the country! And thanks to Kellie, I even crossed paths with MUS members Karla Coleman of Opportunity Bridges, along with Eric Shepherd and Jacob Hurtado from The Foundation of Talent Transformation.

This month, I made my way to Northwest Indiana for the 2026 MUS Annual Convening, WorkforceWorks!! The Urban Rural Connection. Over the next several days, I will be riding the bus, exploring communities across Michigan City, Rensselaer, and Gary, jumping into selfies with attendees, and documenting where workforce works along the way. From site visits and community stops to sessions and shared experiences, I'm ready for the adventures!

No field report would be complete without thanking our Sponsors and local Partners helping make this year’s convening possible. Their support helps power the experiences, conversations, and connections happening across Northwest Indiana this week.

Please take a moment to learn more about these amazing organizations in this month’s Sponsor Spotlight article.
