Later this month, executives from Midwest Urban Strategies and several of our members and partners will be in Washington, D.C. as part of the annual the U.S. Conference of Mayors Workforce Development Council Board meeting.
In advance of that meeting, MUS staff have been reaching out to various members of their respective delegations, both on the Senate and Congressional sides of the Hill, to share information about MUS and the progress we’ve made in their districts. Click here to see the one pager they left behind.
For more information on how MUS can support your efforts in Washington and provide you with information and collateral materials to share with members of your delegation please e-mail MUS Director Tracey Carey at tcarey@partner4work.org.
“One of our goals with MUS is to leverage the collective resources of the 10 states and 13 members of our organization,” said Carey. “Whether it’s the upcoming U.S. Conference of Mayors event or the Skills Summit sponsored by the National Skills Coalition in early February, we’re available to assist our members with legislative outreach in Washington.”
