This year’s symposium will serve as a national gathering for workforce boards, practitioners, and leaders dedicated to transforming youth programs from basic career exploration into sustainable economic mobility.
With the Midwest Urban Strategies (MUS) network driving impactful workforce systems across major Midwestern urban centers, the 2026 Youth Symposium offers an invaluable platform for MUS members to share local success stories, gain expert insights, and bring innovative strategies back to their home communities.
The multi-day event will feature dynamic learning sessions, peer-led workshops, and networking opportunities focused on the pressing issues facing today's young job seekers, including underemployment, holistic supportive services, and emerging career paths in high-demand sectors. Attendees will leave equipped with actionable, data-driven frameworks to strengthen local talent pipelines and engage youth earlier and more effectively.
