Amber Lindh-Porcaro is the Project Manager for Midwest Urban Strategies, a consortium of 13 U.S. Department of Labor Workforce Development Boards working to marry traditional workforce development practices with economic development. Prior to joining Midwest Urban Strategies Team in February 2021, Amber helped coordinate and manage energy efficiency programs across the United States for five years. Her responsibilities included managing day to day operations, establishing more efficient processes, ensuring data quality, and project management.
From 2011 to 2013, Amber served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Philippines, teaching English to hundreds of high school students. Amber holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UW-Milwaukee.
In her free time, Amber enjoys reading every book she can get her hands on, exploring new hiking trails (when weather permits), cooking new recipes, and being an aunt to her niece and nephews.
