Workforce Innovators

Celebrating the Future of Workforce Development

Midwest Urban Strategies (MUS) has created the first-of-its-kind cohort. Eighteen professionals were nominated for their roles as emerging leaders in workforce development, specifically related to their efforts around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to be the inaugural participants. By recognizing the tremendous individual work of each leader, Workforce Innovators offers a platform for mentorship, collaborative brainstorming, and idea-sharing to leverage best practices and incubate new philosophies.

The Mission

Workforce Innovators goes beyond recognizing the professionals and shining a spotlight on the work they are doing. This space will allow participants to learn what works at the local level and develop ways to scale that success regionally.

Day in and day out, workforce development organizations connect job seekers with employers and make sure they have the necessary skills, training, support, and access to be successful. The Workforce Innovators cohort will offer the same thing, focusing on the next generation of workforce development executives.
